the Nike IPOD?

1. is it accurate?
2. will it work on a treadmill?
3. will it work with another shoe, if i attach a shoe wallet to it, to put the gadget/receiver?

I own the nike+ unit and it has really helped my running. It allows you to calibrate it, providing for a more accurate read, but even with the default setting it was pretty close (supposed to be at 90% accuracy out of the box).

Unlike GPS, it will work anywhere you run (indoors and outdoors). Another cool feature is that while running, you can hit the center button and receive info on your pace, distance, and time. After your workout, it loads automatically to the nike+ website, allowing you to view all of your runs.

As for the shoe, nike suggests you use their shoes because they have a place for the sensor, but I use bought a pouch that goes on the laces of my mizuno shoes made exclusively for the nike+ sensor (http://www.shoepouch.com). I’ve had it for 6 months with no problems yet. A shoe wallet should work just as well, but make sure that it doesn’t have too much room to move around in there.
